Robert Taylor
was graduated from Texas Christian
University in 1964 before studying law at George
Washington University and Southern Methodist University
law schools. He began his business career in banking and
in the 70’s became a highly successful stockbroker for E.F.
Hutton. For several years he wrote a daily investment column
for the Dallas Morning News. In the 1980’s he helped build
with his brother a small, one-office brokerage company
started in Fort Worth into an influential $75 million dollar
nationwide company with 22 offices and 750 employees.
